It's been a super long time since I've blogged and my brain seems to be the worse off for it! I'm in a brain clutter rut and am now trying use metacognition to get myself out. I've had a recurring thought over the past few weeks that stopping journaling has had a detrimental effect. Even though I tended to go through the same cycles of activity, recognition and resolution, I think it helped me to "tidy up" my mind and move on to other things. 

So this is my first post (just so my blog isn't empty). We'll see where it goes from here.
